Vintage Bridal Shoot with Robert Norman Photography

Who can resist a 1950′s inspired vintage wedding gown, a mint condition Mercury Montclair and the company of Robert Norman? Not me!  For those of you who don’t know Robert Norman, walking into his home is very similar to walking into Disney’s Hollywood Studios.  Plenty of vintage world’s fair memorabilia, art deco and chrome!  It’s right up my alley and when I heard about this shoot I had to be a part of it.  Thanks for letting me tag along… can’t wait to see your images!

Nikki Nicole & Rob Get Married

Anybody that knows me, knows I love New Orleans, so when Nikki Nicole & Rob said they were getting married in the middle of Royal Street with a second line band finishing off their ceremony I couldn’t NOT be there if you know what I mean.  We dodged some scary looking weather and everything happened as planned – I’m pretty sure that photographers are also cloud whisperers and I was in the company of 5 of them that day so they had no problem willing the rain to stop.  Everything was picture perfect and I can’t explain how awesome it is to have a brass band break into song seconds after you tie the knot… I feel like it takes the joy that you as a bride or groom feel moments after you say “I do” and spreads it around to all your friends and family (and whoever else happens to be walking by) so they can feel the way you do.  I’m so honored that Nikki Nicole and Rob allowed me to be part of their special day and I know what it means to miss New Orleans!
